A Weekend in Chengdu (or PANDAS!)
Nick and I had a great weekend in Chengdu. Just over two hours away from Chongqing via high speed rail, it’s an easy trip, complete with beautiful hilly Sichuan landscape (colored with brilliant yellow blooming rapeseed) along the way. Now I understand what Peter Hessler was talking about. The main attraction: PANDAS! I finally got to see my first real Pandas at the Chengdu Panda Base...
